Back in 2013 I was approached by Nick Hillel who runs Yeast Culture to help realise a touring theatre show he was directing the visuals for for Boy Blue . The set was a combination of a three gauze backdrop and several set elements which were moved into place by the cast. The whole show was programmed on catalyst with many different presents for the movable projected elements which needed plotting in for each venue move based on projector location and spike mark locations. Rather than having any tracked automation process everything was present and cued to give the illusion of the projection sticking to the surfaces.
